One of the big knocks against entering any Debt Settlements program is the fact that the creditors do not immediately get paid. Of course, usually people entering debt settlements are already in default, and have damaged credit. So do you get a card when you go into a debt settling program?

You do not at the present time get a card, however, I think it's not a bad idea to have the consumer provided one, when enrolling. Thank you for the comment.
